Lustre Cloths

From the Victorian Era

Alpaca Gold of the Incas – Gold moiree silk and alpaca

Elegance for evening and the "special occasion" dress

We have used our British Alpaca to create fabrics that were once fashionable for ladies in the Victorian era known as the Lustre Cloth for the apparel industry today. These fabrics we believe have their own USP in that they adhere to traditional designs and patterns but are designed for the 21st century.

The Limited Edition of Lustre Cloths are made with a unique blend of alpaca and silk giving a lustre to the cloth which makes it ideal for wedding and evening wear. It looks like silk taffeta – but has a different texture – a softer handle.
